30 Day Infertility Blog Challenge: Day #02

Day 2:
Discuss the most ridiculous thing you ever heard about conception. Where did you hear it? Did it work for someone else? Did you try it?

1. pegang perut/ dukung, kasik amik berkat.
 - duhhhh! bodoh kah apakah anda? hanya dengan memegang perut bolekah pregnant. hukum mana anda pakai?

2. makan asid folic banyak2, kasik rahim kuat
- ye??? sungguh? bukan kene makan dupaston ke kalo nk kasik rahim kuat? duhhh!

3. angkat kaki tinggi2 lepas bersama. tido kasik kaki tinggi
- ok, angkat dah. apa? tak cukup tinggi? takkan semalaman nk tido angkat kaki? setahu aku, gynea aku kata, dalam 30min pun dah cukup.

ahhhh aku dah tak igt. byk sgt la yg merapu. dan biasanya aku akan jawab, o yeee? sambil wat muke.

ps:aku ada soalan, mintak tolong ramai2 jawab:

is it that weird  that an expecting mother did not post any status/pictures/baby tickers or anything related to pregnancy at facebook?

- i believe, some of my friends thinks that i am weird for not doing so.

tak, aku tak weird.

kan?

30 Day Infertility Blog Challenge: Day #01

Day 1:
How did you and your partner decide when you were ready to start trying to conceive?

honestly, since our first day or marriage. tak lah. sbbnye my hubby keje oil and gas, and he has to go for outstation, 4ari seminggu, so i only jumpe die 3hari seminggu. (that's for our first 4months of marriage) lepas tu, he has to go for outstation for 1month, then balik umah 3 ari, then go again. (i felt like i am still bujang kot time tu, single but obviously not available). this went on about 4months. lepas tu, my hubby tak tahan, then he quit his job dan kami pun takde la jauh2 lagik. hurmm, the downside of working in oit&gas industry kan.

and, even little children pun tahu yg it takes two to conceived. cuma, my MIL tak tahu fakta itu, dan itu buat i makin tertekan. and i cried, every times AF comes knocking. mcm bodoh kan, but thats the reality. and i said im sorry everytime. sbbnya, i know DH mmg nk anak sgt2. yet, we never seek any treatment (except that i tried many & many minuman kesihatan yg kekonon bole conceive. cet!), until the ectopic incident. lepas tu, mmg gigih berTTC.

and i believe that i announce to the whole world that we are currently TTC in mid of February 2010. sebelum ni diam2 je. hurmmm

-----------------------------------

ok, oleh kerana aku terlambat bace komen2 pedas drp cik puan tu, dan aku cume tau dari jay, tp aku berjaya gak godek2 blog B&C dan jumpe sume komen2 tu. meh aku nk berpedasan sket.

come on la, aku benci gile org yg camtu. i mean, fine, ko mudah dapat anak. oh tak? ko tak bunting pelamin? tp kau tunggu berapa bulan je nk pregnant? ape? 2bulan lepas kawen? so ko penah rasa tension MIL ko tanya macam2? In laws yg lain? kawan2 yg mulut cam tuttt? pandangan mata mereka yg ada anak setiap kali derang nampak ko? duhhh, tak kot! dan ko penah rasa tak yg dunia kau dikelilingi oleh mereka yg pregnant?

seriously, selepas aku gigih berTTC, kemana2 aku pergi, kemana2 aku akan nampak perempuan pregnant. and it felt like they are mocking me "we are pregnant, kau ada?" ok aku tau tu setan tu. hoh. dan aku penah kene hentam ngn member aku sndrik, kekononnye aku membenci perempuan mengandung. duhhhh! walhal aku tatau pun die pregnant. macam2 die maki aku. dan followers die, kemain lagik mengutuk aku. hanya sebab aku tulis dekat blog TTC aku, diulangi Blog TTC aku (which i never reveal to any of my friends, tp die tahu gak, sbb die stalk aku) yg "mood tidak best apabila bukak fb ade announcement pregnancy", walhal, bukan die yg buat announcement tu, member lama yg dah ade anak seorg dan pregnant lagik. jelous much? of course. die ade dua.

ok, maybe hormon die tak stabil then die maki aku, kekononnye aku benci dgn perempuan mengandung (iaitu dia) and aku macam. hotak kau! and i cried, hard. sbb aku tak bole terima kata2 dia. antara yg aku tak bole terima "mcm mana dia bole benci perempuan mengandung walhal dia pun nk anak. dia igt dengan membenci perempuan mengandung tu, Allah nk bagi dia mengandung?"

ok, macam sial kan.

dah dah, aku dah merapu. owh, btw, aku tak maafkan dia walaupun aku tak bernafas lagik di dunia ini dan walaupun tulang temulang aku dah habis jadik tanah. serious. kita jumpa sahaja di akhirat.

dan, aku juga mintak sangat2 dekat Allah SWT yg aku tak kan jadik ibu yg obsess dgn anak dia sampai lupakan hati dan perasaan org lain.

30 Day Infertility Blog Challenge

ok, this blog has been abandoned more than a month!

gile.

apart from the fact that im in malas mode, my notebook also 'patah'. waaaaaaaaaa. and that i found it 'tak best langsung berblog' using my hubby lappy.

so, in order not to 'bersawangkan lagik' this blog, ive decided to do the 30 Day Infertility Blog Challenge. (ok, nampak sgt cam aku nih takde keje. erkkk!)

mcm kata B&C, the challenge is not to show the whole world that we are exaggerating that we are TTC, but simply to juice our blog. kan

Here are the questions for the 30 Day Infertility Blog Challenge:

Day 1:
How did you and your partner decide when you were ready to start trying to conceive?

Day 2:
Discuss the most ridiculous thing you ever heard about conception. Where did you hear it? Did it work for someone else? Did you try it?

Day 3:
When talking to your fertile parenting friends, what is/was your favorite “perk” of childlessness to rub in their face? Sleeping in? Vacations? Hot pre-pregnancy body? Come on, confess!

Day 4:
Besides Mothers Day, what is the hardest holiday for you as an infertile?

Day 5:
Write a letter (one that you never have to send) to a fertile in your life. Did they hurt you? Support you? Tell them how you feel, all the things you can’t bring yourself to say in person.

Day 6:
Discuss how you found your way into the ALI community, and what being part of it has meant to you – good and bad. (ALI = adoption/loss/infertility, source here)

Day 7:
If you had gotten pregnant that first month you started trying, how would you have been a different parent? What changes have you made to your parenting style (either current or future) in the time you spent trying to conceive?

Day 8:
Share a recipe for your favorite alcoholic drink (or, if you don’t drink, it can be non-alcoholic but make it fun!), and your favorite comfort and/or post-bfn food.

Day 9:
What was the first baby or pregnancy-related purchase you ever made? Was it before or after you started trying to conceive? Or was it after you were already pregnant? Why did you choose that particular item to buy first? If you haven’t purchased anything yet, why not?

Day 10:
Other than the song “I Would Die For That,” post a video of a song that has special meaning to you and your infertility journey. Explain it, if you’re comfortable doing so.

Day 11:
Post your favorite pre-ttc picture of yourself. Why is it your favorite? If possible, talk about that day/moment.

Day 12:
Talk about how you chose your RE.

Day 13:
Post the list of potential baby names that you seriously considered, but can no longer use because someone stole it/it became too popular/whatever reason.

Day 14:
If a very observant stranger were to walk into your house, what clues could lead them to believe that you have struggled with infertility?

Day 15:
If you are not yet pregnant/a parent: What are you MOST and LEAST looking forward to after that first beta? If you are already pregnant/a parent: What was the most pleasant/unpleasant thing about pregnancy? If you have taken the childfree path: What pregnancy symptom are you happy to have avoided, and which one do you wish you’d experienced?

Day 16:
If you are not yet a parent: What are you MOST looking forward to about parenthood? If you are a parent: What is the most surprising thing about being a parent? If you have taken the childfree path: What is the most surprising part of living childfree after infertility?

Day 17:
Tell us your funniest Clomid/Femara/Injectibles mood-swing story. If you don’t have one, tell us your funniest general infertility drug story.

Day 18:
Tell us about a pre-ttc pregnancy “scare.” With your current partner, or with an ex.

Day 19:
What tv show/movie/commercial/print ad has bothered you the most since you began trying to conceive? If possible, post it here. Tell us why it bothered you so much.

Day 20:
Have you ever bonded with someone IRL over infertility, even just for a few minutes? It could be a family member, friend, neighbor, or even the clerk at the grocery store who noticed your OPK and vitamin purchase. Tell the story. (IRL = in real life, source here)

Day 21:
What is your favorite infertility-related quote? It doesn’t have to be explicitly related to infertility, but one that means something to your personal journey.

Day 22:
Were you the product of infertility? Was anyone you know the product of infertility? How do you know? Or do you just suspect based on circumstances like age differences between siblings, time between marriage and conception, etc.

Day 23:
Does your religion (or lack of) help/hurt/affect your infertility journey? Have you found religion? Lost it? Does it affect what treatments you do?

Day 24:
How has your financial situation affected your infertility journey?

Day 25:
Talk about a time when you made someone in your life understand more about infertility.

Day 26:
What do you use the “nursery” for right now? If you already had a baby, what did you use it for before pregnancy?

Day 27:
If you had known that you would have trouble conceiving, what would you have done differently in life? If you already knew, did that knowledge affect your other life choices?

Day 28:
Have you ever done something “non-traditional” in order to help you conceive?

Day 29:
Tell us about a friendship you lost or a relationship that changed for the worse because of infertility.

Day 30:
After a month of infertility talk, we need a distraction. Give us a link to one of your favorite non-infertility-sites, or tell us about your favorite distraction activity/book/feel-good movie.
